Daniel Cormier; UFC Heavyweight champion has recently revealed that he is in talks with WWE as they invited him to be their commentator.
Daniel Cormier is expected to make is return to UFC in 2019 against the wrestler Brock Lesnar. Lesnar has already won the WWE Universal title at the Crown Jewel.
Cormier called out to Lesnar for a fight after Cormier defeated Derrick Lewis on Saturday night fight of UFC 230 at Madison Square Garden. He has confirmed himself that he is interested in working with WWE.
Cormier told radio station interviewers, “They called me. They reached out to my assistant. It was WWE and not he FOX channel. They called asking me to go to Orlando, Florida.”
He further said, “I could not make that date and they asked me again to go back but then they were on a tour for a month and I told them that I want to do this with an entire commentary team. I told them that I want everyone here, not one guy here and one guy there. Then they told me ok let’s schedule it for November. Now with the UFC 230 the date got pushed again and now we will revisit this again. I am very passionate about pro wrestling.”
