Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season has given us some clear frontrunners and surprising movers. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs finally clicked on offense, producing a dominating performance against the Baltimore Ravens.

Meanwhile, the NFC West looks stacked, with the Seahawks, 49ers, and Rams all showing serious potential. Let’s break down the full power rankings, team by team, as the league heads into Week 5.

1. Philadelphia Eagles (4–0)

The Eagles remain on top. Despite some struggles in the passing game, they keep finding ways to win. Saquon Barkley is carrying the load, and special teams have been a major factor with key blocked kicks. They face the Denver Broncos next, and their unbeaten streak is still intact.

2. Buffalo Bills (4–0)

Josh Allen and the Bills continue to steamroll opponents. Last week’s win over the Saints cemented their status as one of the two remaining undefeated teams. Fans are buzzing about the Super Bowl, but the team remains focused heading into a matchup with the Patriots.

3. Detroit Lions (3–1)

The Lions’ offense is explosive, even without big-name play-calling. Penei Sewell’s battles against top pass rushers have been must-watch moments. Detroit heads to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals, hoping to continue their winning streak.

4. Kansas City Chiefs (2–2)

The Chiefs leap up the rankings thanks to a dominant 37–20 win over the Ravens. Patrick Mahomes is now quicker than ever, making the Chiefs’ offense dynamic and hard to stop. With Rashee Rice soon returning, KC is a serious Super Bowl contender. They face the Jaguars next.

5. Los Angeles Rams (3–1)

Matthew Stafford was incredible in the fourth quarter of their win over the Colts. The Rams showed resilience, and their defense played well under pressure. Next up, they face a tough NFC West clash with the 49ers.

6. Seattle Seahawks (3–1)

Sam Darnold’s development is paying off. The Seahawks are creating explosive plays consistently, making them a dangerous team in the NFC West. Their next matchup against the Buccaneers will be key for maintaining momentum.

7. San Francisco 49ers (3–1)

After a tough loss to the Jaguars, the 49ers look to bounce back against the Rams. Brock Purdy is back in action, and the team still has plenty of talent to challenge the top NFC squads.

8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3–1)

Despite losing to the Eagles, Tampa Bay’s young cornerbacks have been impressive. Baker Mayfield’s offense needs to stay healthy, but the Bucs remain competitive. They travel to Seattle next.

9. Los Angeles Chargers (3–1)

A loss to the Giants was a setback, and injuries are a concern. Justin Herbert remains the key to their success, and the Chargers will look to rebound against the Washington Commanders.

10. Indianapolis Colts (3–1)

The Colts had a tough loss to the Rams but showed resilience. Daniel Jones is adjusting under pressure, and the team has a chance to contend in the AFC South. Next, they face the Raiders.

11. Green Bay Packers (2–1–1)

After a tie with the Cowboys, the Packers’ offense is showing potential but needs more consistency. Jordan Love is the key, and the team travels to Cleveland for Week 5.

12. Washington Commanders (2–2)

Jayden Daniels’ absence has hurt the Commanders, but the defense still has talent. Injuries to Marshon Lattimore and other key defenders may be costly. They face the Chargers next.

13. Baltimore Ravens (1–3)

Lamar Jackson’s hamstring injury puts the Ravens in a tough spot. They have fallen to 1–3 and must rely on backup Cooper Rush. The Ravens host the Texans this week, but the road is steep.

14. Pittsburgh Steelers (3–1)

Mike Tomlin’s squad continues to impress. DK Metcalf is a major weapon, and Aaron Rodgers is adjusting well. The Steelers travel to New England in a must-win matchup.

15. Denver Broncos (2–2)

Bo Nix’s offense is finding its rhythm after a dominant win over the Bengals. The Broncos face a strong Eagles team next, which will test their consistency.

16. Jacksonville Jaguars (3–1)

Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne are showing top-tier chemistry. The Jaguars upset the 49ers and aim to continue their winning streak against the Chiefs.

17. Chicago Bears (2–2)

Caleb Williams is making waves, and the Bears’ back-to-back wins have energized the team. Defense remains a question, but the offense can compete with most NFC squads.

18. Arizona Cardinals (2–2)

Kyler Murray is back in form, but inconsistency is an issue. The Cardinals face the Titans next and need to regain control of the NFC West race.

19. Atlanta Falcons (2–2)

Bijan Robinson is carrying the offense. Atlanta bounced back from a previous loss, and their upcoming matchup with the 49ers will be critical for playoff positioning.

20. Minnesota Vikings (2–2)

Carson Wentz has struggled, but the defense is holding strong. The Vikings face the Browns in London, looking to even their record.

21. Dallas Cowboys (1–2–1)

Dak Prescott continues to shine despite a shaky defense. The Cowboys are competitive but need more from their secondary. Next up: the New York Jets.

22. Cincinnati Bengals (2–2)

Without Joe Burrow, the Bengals’ offense is struggling. Jake Browning must step up if they want to remain relevant. They face the Broncos in Week 5.

23. Houston Texans (1–3)

CJ Stroud and the Texans stunned the Titans last week. While the season is challenging, a win against the Ravens could give the team momentum.

24. New England Patriots (2–2)

Drake Maye and the Patriots bounced back with a big win over Carolina. Next, they face the Buffalo Bills in a crucial showdown.

25. New York Giants (1–3)

Jaxson Dart is off to a promising start. The Giants shocked the Chargers, and consistency will be key against the Saints.

26. Las Vegas Raiders (1–3)

Geno Smith had a rough game last week, and the Raiders are struggling in the AFC West. They face the Colts next.

27. New York Jets (0–4)

Justin Fields and the Jets are searching for their first win. The Cowboys matchup is a chance to snap the streak.

28. Cleveland Browns (1–3)

Joe Flacco is underperforming, leaving the Browns in need of a spark. They travel to face the Vikings in London.

29. Carolina Panthers (1–3)

Bryce Young has talent, but the team has been inconsistent. After a blowout loss to the Patriots, they aim to regroup against the Dolphins.

30. Miami Dolphins (1–3)

Mike McDaniel’s squad looks to rebound after a close loss. Darren Waller is a bright spot, and the team faces Carolina next.

31. New Orleans Saints (0–4)

Taysom Hill is back, but the Saints are still searching for a first win. They face the Giants in a winnable matchup.

32. Tennessee Titans (0–4)

The Titans are struggling in Cam Ward’s rookie season. With no wins yet, they must regroup quickly against the Cardinals.

Key Takeaways

  • NFC West battle: Seahawks, Rams, and 49ers are showing top-tier competitiveness.
  • Injury concerns: Lamar Jackson and other stars impact the early Super Bowl odds.
