When Klay Thompson gets into game mode, there might be no one who can stop him in the NBA.
The Golden State Warriors guard was on fire on Monday’s night game against the Los Angeles Lakers as he scored 10 straight 3-pointers before he missed the 11th one in the third quarter. His 10 3-pointers have set a new NBA record for the most consecutive 3s to start a game.
Klay Thompson also finished for the night with his 44 points. He was lethal in the third quarter when he shot 7 3s as his teammates were trying to feed him. He only missed with 3:55 minutes to the third quarter.
He left the game after this and the Warriors took over for him as they won the game by 130-111.
Earlier this season, Thompson also broke the record of his fellow team player, Stephen Curry after he scored 14 3s in the game against Chicago Bulls.
