Pakistan is looking to end its rather disappointing tour in South Africa by managing the success of the three-matches Twenty20 International Series. The first match of T20 Series will be taking place in Cape Town on Friday.
The Pakistani team who were at 3-0 in the Test series also lost the five-match ODI series by 3-2. Despite their poor performance for the last few matches, they have a strong chance of winning this series even if they are missing their regular captain; Sarfraz Ahmad who is currently on a four-match suspension.
The South African team is looking to gain the momentum after they win the ODI Series final match on Wednesday. David Miller is back in the team and South Africa is looking towards him to pull off this feat. To entertain the tourists, De Kock and captain Faf Du Plessis will be looking to make some heavy hits on the pitch.
Pakistan is coming as the Top ranking team in this format of the cricket as they have won the 17 of their last 18 T20 international matches so far. So despite losing their footing in the Test and ODI series, they are still very confident about this series.
Pakistani team is planning to send the young and energetic batsman Imad Wasim as one of the openers for some pinch hitting. For the bowling option, Pakistan is considering to send in Hussain Talat who is a part-time bowling option in place of Mohammed Amir. As for the captain’s sot in absence of Sarfraz Ahmad, it will be given to Mohammad Rizwan who is feeling a lot of pressure about it.
