Smith vs. Eggington: Kash Ali confirmed as David Price’s opponent in Liverpool on March 30

Kash Ali has been confirmed as David Price’s new opponent for the heavyweight title fight on the Liam Smith VS Sam Eggington bill in Liverpool on March 30th.

The Merseysider ended his last year with a win over the Tom Little and now he returns home for a domestic clash against Kash Ali ahead of the Super Welterweight title fight of Smith VS Eggington at the M&S Bank Arena on March 30th.

Kash Ali is an uneaten boxer who has won his 14 successive matches with 6 knockouts as he claimed the Central Area title last year.

Price, who has previously sparred with the 27 years old Midlands man, admits to the threat posed by Ali, but the former British and Commonwealth champion vows to propel himself for a big-name fight next already.

Price said, “Kash Ali has placed his undefeated record on the line in this fight so he obviously fancies his chances. We know each other well but I am planning to put him out in a style to let everyone know, I mean business. It will be great for me to win the next big fight at my home crowd next month.”

He further said, “We sparred a lot of rounds at Dave Cowell’s gym so I know what he is all about. He is a young and hungry fighter which makes him a dangerous fighter. He will be coming for my scalp but I won’t let him get in the way of my big 2019 plans.”
