On Saturday night for the 12th match of the PSL 2019 played between Quetta Gladiators VS Lahore Qalandars; Gladiators came on top by a 3-wicket win at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Lahore Qalandars had earlier batted first to set the target for Gladiators at 144 runs.
Sarfraz Ahmad, the skipper from Gladiators side hit a marvelous six on the last ball of the innings to give his team an amazing win over the Qalandars.
The opening innings for Lahore Qalandars was not as much as they hoped for with their openers falling to the bowling spell of Gladiators. Fakhar Zaman could only score 3 runs while Salman Butt scored 5 runs, Sohail Akhtar scored 26 runs, Anderson scored 19, David Wiese scored 20 and lastly, Gohar Ali scored 5 runs.
As for AB de Villiers from Qalandars side, he scored 45 runs not out.
On the bowling end of Quetta Gladiators, Ghulam Mudassar took 3 wickets; Sohail Tanveer got 2 while Anwar Ali and Muhammad Nawaz got one wicket each.
Chasing the 144 runs target, Skipper Sarfraz Ahmad led his team to a victory with 52 runs, not out while Ahsan Ali scored 40 runs, Mohammed Nawaz scored 19 and Rossouw scored 17 runs.
From Qalandars bowling lineup, Harris Rauf grabbed 2 wickets while Rahat Ali, Yasir Shah, Wiese, and Lamichhane; all got one wicket each of Qalandars batsmen.
