On the rainy Sunday evening, the Pro Bowl game played between AFC and the NFC was won over by the AFC by 26-7 in Orlando.
For the NFL All-Star Game, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes led the AFC down the field for a TD on the opening drive as well as delivering an 18-yard scoring strike to Eric Ebron, the tight end of the Indianapolis Colts.
However, despite a strong opening drive, the defensive team dominated the game after that as the game was riddled with offensive miscues due to the rainy weather.
The AFC’s lead was maintained by a goal-line TD from Chiefs fullback Anthony Sherman along with two field goals from Jason Myers in the second half.
NFC at some point tied to make a comeback when Ezekiel Eliot and Saquon Barkley both ran for a read-option offense as both teams swapped their defensive and offensive personnel at regular intervals.
Mike Evans, the wide receiver from Tampa Bay Buccaneers intercepted a pass from Deshaun Watson in one play before being fumbled. The ball was picked up by Barkley who ran all the way up to the midfield.
Jalen Ramsey of the Jaguars also made an impressive play on the other side of the ball as he scored a six-yard TD.
