Amir Khan has made claims that he and Manny Pacquiao have both signed for their upcoming fight that will be held on November 8th in Saudi Arabia.
The 32 years old Boxer from Britain also said that he and Pacquiao have also agreed to the venue of their big fight to be in Riyadh.
Earlier this month, Amir Khan was able to defeat Billy Dib in their fight for the WBC’s International Welterweight title. Amir Khan won the fight in the 4th round by stoppage.
Now once more, Amir Khan intends to go back in Saudi Arabia and fight against his former sparring partner Manny Pacquiao. The fight will only be possible if Pacquiao comes unscathed from his upcoming fight against Keith Thurman for the title of WBA Welterweight. Their fight will be held in Las Vegas this weekend.
Khan said, “The next fight will once again be held in Saudi Arabia and this time it is going to be in Riyadh and the date is November 8th. The fight will happen if Manny Pacquiao wins his fight over the wakened and If not then there will be back up plans. However, we strongly wish for him to succeed this week.”
Pacquiao is the favorite fighter for the Pacquiao VS Thurman fight that will be held this Saturday night. Kahn believes that even if the 40 years old Pacquiao loses his fight at the MGM Grand, their fight will still happen sometime later this year.
Khan said, “What happens if Pacquiao gets injured or loses the fight? I still think that even if he still loses, this will be the biggest fight to be held in the Middle East. Over the years, there has been so much talk about it. I just believe that Manny will win and the fight can happen.”
Answering the question about his personal relationship with Pacquiao, Khan said: “We are great friends and the respect between us is there always but business is business and sometimes friends too have to fight each other in this business.”
