Andrade vs. Kautondokwa: Demetrius Andrade and Katie Taylor make weight for world title fights

For this week’s blockbuster fights for the world titles, Andrade and Taylor have both made their weights.

Andrade is to battle against the Namibian fighter Walter Kautondokwa for the vacant spot of the WBO belt. The fight will take place on the early hours of the Sunday morning at the TD Garden in Boston. Andrade was weighed in at about 160lbs while his Namibian opponent is weighed at about 158 lbs.

If Andrade manages to defeat the Namibian foe who appear to be in the peak condition, then Andrade will become the two-weight world champion.

As for Taylor who is to fight against Cindy Serrano for the dense match for her WBA and IBF lightweight titles, weighed in at about 134.6lbs. as for Serrano, she was a bit lighter than the minimum requirement of 135lbs at 132.6 lbs.
