Antetokounmpo helps Bucks to outlast Bulls by 112-99

The Greek freak was back in action and behind him, the rest of Milwaukee Bucks got rolling in for a win.

Antetokounmpo scored 29 points and 17 rebounds while Eric Bledrose added in his 19 points for Milwaukee Bucks win against the Chicago Bulls by 112-99 on Monday night.

Coach Mike Budenholzer said, “I liked our team’s defense most of the fourth quarter and the offense too. We played with a little more pace and little more purpose in the second half. I think it really showed.”

As for Antetokounmpo, he scored his record 39th double-double of the season after his return to the game after sitting out four games of the season due to a sore right knee.

Antetokounmpo said, “I think we just trust one another more and we played with a lot of effort. We especially played more defensively as we tried to pick it up in the second half. We were able to knock some shots down.”

Malcolm Brogdon scored 17 points while Khris Middleton scored 16 points to gave Bucks the league-leading win of 7 games in the last 8 games and also improved their record to 13-2. Bucks have now won 15 of their last 17 games.

As for the Chicago Bulls, they were led by Zach LaVine who scored 27 points17 of which were scored in the first half while Lauri Markkanen had 20 points and 17 rebounds for Chicago to help the team stay in the game until the end.

Otto Porter Jr., who was acquired from Washington Wizards, last week scored 18 points in his third game with Bulls. However, the Bulls still lost their fourth game out of their last 5 games.

Up next, Milwaukee Bucks will host a game against the Indian Pacers on Wednesday before going on eight ay breaks because of the All-Star break. As for Chicago Bulls, they will host a game against the Memphis Grizzlies before resuming the play against Orlando Magic on Feb 22nd.
