Antetokounmpo leads Bucks past Grizzlies by 111-101

The Milwaukee Bucks, lately have not been only winning the games, they are completely dominating their opponents.

 

The Bucks won their third straight win and 14th of their last 17 games on Wednesday night as they defeated the Memphis Grizzlies by 111-101.

This was Bucks’ 23rd win this season where they have won by double digits. Along with this, the have also entered the game with 16.2 points margin in their last 13 wins.

Milwaukee led the fourth quarter on Wednesday night by 31 points but Grizzlies late run ended that margin by 21 points.

Bucks like most of the time this season were led by Giannis Antetokounmpo who scored his 27 points along with 11 rebounds while Eric Bledrose scored 16 points. 12 of his 16 points were scored by him in the high momentum third quarter of the game.

Milwaukee coach Mike Budenholzer said, “Bledrose was phenomenal tonight. He really challenged the whole game. We needed him. We needed a guy like him who could step up and have a game like this.”

On the other, the condition of Grizzlies is quite the opposite of the Bucks, as they have lost 3 straight games and are now 7-20 after they started the season by 12-5. The third quarter, in which the Bucks picked up the momentum for the game was a nightmare for the Grizzlies.

Bucks were led by Omri Casspi who scored 17 points whereas JaMychal Green scored 14 points with 10 rebounds while Mike Conley and Marc Gasol scored 14 points each for the Grizzlies.

Up next, Milwaukee Bucks will play against the Orlando Magic on Saturday while Memphis Grizzlies will face the Boston Celtics on Friday night.
