Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo have gotten the best of the Toronto Raptors this season so far. Even if the season series is over, they know that they have not seen the last of the Raptors.
Antetokounmpo scored 29 points while Khris Middleton scored 18 points for the Bucks as they defeated the Raptors by 105-92 on Thursday night. With this win, Bucks have ended the Raptors season-best of home wins of 10 games.
Antetokounmpo said, “It is really big for us but we have to remain humble. We need to keep working hard, keep working on the game and keep moving forward. We know that we are going to be back here eventually.”
Other players of Bucks’; DJ Wilson scored his career high 16 points while Eric Bledsoe scored 14 as Milwaukee who are now 37-13 on the season clinched their third victory in their last four games against the Toronto Raptors.
Milwaukee Bucks are 1 ½ game ahead of the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference who are currently 37-16 on the season.
Milwaukee center Brook Lopez said, “It was a very good playoffs atmosphere and it was really the best experience for us.”
As for the Raptors, they were led by Pascal Siakam scored 28 points while Kawhi Leonard scored 16 points who had previously not lost a game against the Bucks since December 9th at home.
Serge Ibaka scored 12 points with 10 rebounds for the Raptors who have now lost three of their last 4 games.
Up next, Milwaukee Bucks will play against the Washington Wizards on Saturday night while Toronto Raptors will host a game against the LA Clippers on Sunday afternoon.
