After missing playing in the Bucks’ last game, Thon maker made a comeback and had a chance to shine in Bucks’ hard fought win against the Utah Jazz on Monday night.
Maker scored his season high of 15 points for the team to lead their win against the Utah Jazz by 114-102.
Antetokounmpo talking about Maker said, “We won the game because of him. He brought the energy tonight, played hard and made some good shots. It was amazing to see Thom competing hard out there.”
As for Antetokounmpo, he led the team with his 30 points.
Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said of Maker’s performance, “he flipped the script. He made different things happen on the court tonight. I really like he was the difference maker tonight.”
Malcolm Brogdon of the Bucks scored 21 points for the team as the Bucks now stand 28-11 on the season, having the second best NBA record this season.
As for the Jazz, they were led by Donavon Mitchell who scored 26 points while Rudy Gobert added in his 14 points with 15 rebounds for the night. Jazz lost their point guard Ricky Rubio who missed the game with being even less than five minute into the game due to a right hamstring injury.
Mitchell said, “We cannot sulk. We had to go out there and compete.”
Antetokounmpo who managed to grab 10 rebounds also fouled out of game with 43 seconds to the game.
Up next, Utah Jazz will host a game against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday. As for Milkweed Bucks they will play against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.
