Anthony Davis was not sure if he is going to play at the All-Star game on Sunday. He was also not sure if he is going to play rest of the season with the Pelicans or not or if he will play the next season.
So obviously there were a lot of questions for Davis.
At the All-Star media day, he answered all of those questions.
Davis said that he wants to play through the end of the season with Pelicans and he also did not eliminate Boston Celtics from the list of the teams where he will play next season. yes, he is also going to try out the free agent market in the summer of 2020. And the big question, he plans to have a chance to win.
Davis said, “it’s time to go play ball and that is what I am trying to do.”
Davis aid hat his shoulder strain would not hinder him from playing like LeBron James’ teammate on Sunday night when Tem LeBron will take on the team Giannis in the All-Star game.
Davis confirmed that there is a list of teams where he want to get traded to with names like James’ Los Angeles Lakers, along with the New York Knicks, the Los Angeles Clippers and the Milwaukee Bucks He also confirmed that Boston Celtics is also on that list.
Davis said, they are all on my list.”
The Lakers have unsuccessfully tied to acquire Davis to their team and Pelicans are unsure as to what will happen next. They also fire their general manager Dell Demps on Friday and replaced him on an interim basis with Danny Ferry. Davis talking about this firing said that the team needed a change of scenery.
Salty Davis said, “It is obviously the best situation for me. When the time comes, I will have to re-evaluate my situation and see what market best fits for me and to go there.”
