ATP Next Gen Finals; Alex de Minaur wraps up third win of the tournament, semi-final places are confirmed

Alex De Minaur; the Australian ace not only wrapped up the Group B battles but utterly crushed his American opponent Taylor Fitz at the Next Gen ATP Finals in Milan on Thursday.

De Minaur defeated Taylor Fritz by 4-3, 4-1, 4-1 and 4-2 to make this his third consecutive win of the tournament.

De Minaur told media, “every time I enter the court I want to leave from there after performing 150 percent and today was the same. I am proud of my efforts this week and I am looking forward to what’s to come next”.

Andrey Rublev, the last year’s runner-up also confirmed his place in the semi-finals after defeating the Italian player Liam Caruana by 4-3, 4-1 and 4-2.

As for Group A war up, Stefanos maintained his winning streak as he defeated Polish No. 1 player Hubert Hurkacz by 4-1, 4-3, and 4-1.

The other match of group A went into the hands of Jaume Munar who defeated Frances Tiafoe by 4-1, 4-3 and 4-1.

The Friday’s semifinals lineup is as follows.
