A woman has accused Cristiano Ronaldo of alleged rape charges. She says that he attempted to rape her back in 2009. The attorney of the woman has told media that if the star is found guilty for alleged rape charges, he can face some serious jail time.
Leslie Stovall; the attorney of the woman told media that the alleged rape charges were reported a decade ago on June 13th, 2009 which was the day it legally occurred at a Las Vegas Hotel. Prompt reporting of such charges eliminates any statute of limitation on the charges in the state of Nevada.
Attorney of the victim; Kathryn Mayorga has not said anything about if her client wants Ronaldo to b behind bars or not but he did mention that his client demands justice.
Las Vegas Police Department Spokesperson told media reporters that they have reopened the sexual assault case which was reported by Mayorga. She had alleged a lawsuit against Ronaldo who attacked her back in 2009 in the Clark County Nevada District Court.
34 years old Mayorga, who is a model and teacher by profession did not attend her attorney’s press conference. Stovall on her behalf told media that his client has attempted suicide and suffered from alcohol abuse along with PTSD after the alleged ape. As per her emotional state, she is currently unavailable to media.
According to Mayorga, that alleged rape attack happened in a suite inside of Palms Hotel and Casino. According to Mayorga, Ronaldo entered the bathroom and pulled her into the bathroom where this attack occurred.
On the other hand, Ronaldo is completely denying any such allegations thrown towards him. He said that, Rape is an abominable crime and I firmly deny any such accusations towards me. My mind and conscience are clear and I will wait it out to take the results after all investigations.”
Due to the hell of these allegations, Ronaldo has been placed on the roster for Portugal’s national team which has two upcoming games ahead of it.
