Australia VS Pakistan 3rd ODI Match; Australia seals the ODI series with a 3rd win over Pakistan with still two games remaining

On Wednesday for the 3rd match of the Australia VS Pakistan ODI series, Australia managed to seal the ODI series by winning the third match as well. Australia won over Pakistan by 80 runs to have a 3-0 lead in the 5 matches.

Despite winning the match, Aaron Finch missed out on his chance of becoming the first ever Australian captain to score three centuries in a row in ODI series. However, he still scored 90 runs off of 136 balls and managed to set a chase target for 266-6.

Glenn Maxwell, feel short at 28 runs after Finch managed to score 71 runs off of 55 balls.  As for the last 10 overs, Pakistan only gave Australia mere 90 runs.

On the bowling end, Australian leg Spinner Adam Zampa got the wickets of Pakistani tail enders. He got 4 wickets by giving away only 43 runs. The whole home team bowled out at 186 runs with 6 overs t spare. The top batting order of Pakistan was cut short by the fast bowler of visitors, Pat Cummins who got 3 wickets by giving away only 23 runs.

Imam Ul Haq, the opening batsman of Pakistan scored 46 runs and was the top scorer from Pakistan’s side. As for the seven confirmed players of Pakistan for World Cup, they were struggling to keep up with the bowling of Cummins and Zampa.

Australia earlier won two of the matches against Pakistan in Sharjah with the same margin. As for the remaining 2 matches of the series, they will be hosted in Dubai. One on Friday with other being held on Sunday.
