Australian Open; Katie Boulter earns historic win against Ekaterina Makarova

Ekaterina Makarova made the Grand Slam history after she won the first ever 10 points match tiebreak at the Australian Open as she defeated her opponent Ekaterina Makarova and managed to reach the second round.

World 97 Ekaterina Makarova celebrating prematurely as she was leading the game by 7-4 forgetting the new rule of extension of the deciding set tiebreak this year.

On the other hand, Boulter regained her composure to win the match by 6-0, 4-6 and 7-6 against the 2015 semi-finalist of the tournament from Russia.
