Beal, Green lead Wizards win over the Pacers by 107-89

Although, the consistency is still eluding the Washington Wizards, they are still applying great basketball for the past one month and are making their way into the playoffs.

As for Indiana Pacers, they are heading in the opposite direction as the Wizards.

Bradley Beal scored 25 points while Jeff Green scored 23 points to lead the Washington Wizards win over the Indiana Pacers by 107-89 on Wednesday night.

Green scored 16 points in the first half while the Wizards’ reserve scored 58 points as they led the fourth quarter. Washington had a great win as they were coming off a defeat against the Cleveland Cavaliers a day earlier.

Beal said, “in order for you to make the playoffs, be in the playoffs and succeed the playoffs; you have got to have a good bench. They did an amazing job for carrying us for last two nights.”

As for the Indiana Pacer, they were led by Thaddeus Young who scored 13 points. Pacers are currently 0-3 since their star player Victor Oladipo is out due to a knee injury against the Raptors’ game.

Pacers coach Nate McMillan said, “It is just low energy right now.  We have kind of lost our way and we need to find it. Vic is not coming back. We have got to move past what we don’t have and focus on what we have.”

Indiana Pacers are currently at fourth place in the Eastern Conference; half a game behind the Philadelphia 76ers and half a game ahead of the fifth place Boston Celtics.

From Wizards’ side, Chasson Randle matched his career high with 13 points while Jordan McRae added in his 12 points for the team.

Up next, Indiana Pacer will play against the Orlando Magic on Thursday night while Washington Wizards will host a game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night.
