Tomas Satoransky of the Wizard got a bottled water shower from his team and a handshake postgame from the team’s president Ernie Grunfeld.
This Friday night big game of the Czech guard was a thing of celebration for the Washington Wizards who were playing with Satoransky, who himself was starting in place of the injured John Wall.
Satoransky scored 18 points along with his career-high 12 rebounds and 10 assists, thus making it his first career triple-double. He was the one who led the Washington Wizards for a win by 113-106 against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night.
Bradley Beal led the Wizards with his 32 points who have now won 3 of their last 4 games.
Satoransky talking about Bradley’s last alley-oop shot said, “Shout out to Brad because he called that play. It was all love from him.”
The Milwaukee Bucks who were playing without Giannis Antetokounmpo who has been riddled with hip and quad injuries, they were never able to gain the lead expect in the opening minutes. As for Wizards who maintained the lead throughout the night finished the night with 18 3-pointer to match the franchise record.
Coach Scott Brooks said, “We have been passing the ball really well tonight and we have been spacing it very well too. With Trevor, we were bound to make some 3s.”
Beal who has scored 30 or more points in his ten straight games this season said, “Our team is totally different from what we were in the start of the year. It is just a matter of us getting it together. I think we’re finally at the point where w can turn the corner.”
Bucks were led by Khris Middleton who scored 25 points while Eric Bledrose scored 18 points with 9 assists.
Up next, Bucks will finish their three-game road trip when they play against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday night. As for Washington Wizards, they will play against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday before they will be traveling to London to play against the New York Knicks at the O2.
