Pierre-Edouard Bellemare has scored 6 goals in this NHL season and 3 of them were scored against his former team in their won arena.
Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and Nazem Kadri both scored 2 goals each for the Colorado Avalanche as the NHL leading tea defeated the Vegas Golden Knights by 7-3.
Pierre-Edouard Bellemare said after the win, “this building has done real good to me for the last 2 years and for the last few months too. It is just kind of crazy with all the bounces, crazy luck and the crazy move and plays. Somehow, when I play here, I feel good.”
Pierre-Edouard Bellemare who has played for the Vegas for his first 2 years in the league scored the first goal for the team in their October’s 6-1 win and then he was able to duplicate the very same feat after taking cross-ice pass from his teammate JT Compher and whipped it with a backhand into the net past his former teammate named Marc Andre Fleury.
Bellemare, who scored the second goal for the Colorado Avalanche lasted in the 2nd period for seizing the game’s momentum for the Colorado Avalanche said, “Sometimes bounces are going just your way. I could have received that very same puck in my skate and it could also have floated off of my skate. But this time, it just stuck there and that is the start for a play.”
Gerard Gallant, the coach for the Vegas said, “He sure loves to play against us, doesn’t he? Maybe he did not like me at all.”
It seems that for Bellemare this was more than luck playing for the Colorado Avalanche as he is now on the track to break his own career-high for 7 season goals which he achieved back paling with Philadelphia in the season of 2015-2016.
Up next, Colorado Avalanche will host a game against Minnesota while the Golden Knights will have a game against Anaheim.
