The professional debut of Shannon Courtenay for her fight against the fighter Cristina Busuioc ended with a spectacular unanimous points decision win on Stairway night. The fight was held at the Copper Box Arena.
Shannon Courtenay managed to win all of the four rounds in her first fight against the Romanian fighter among the paid ranks.
The Watford Bantamweight champion started the opener with confidence as she rocked her rival with a left hook which was followed by a flurry of punches.
She also managed to land in some nice rights.
The 2nd round saw Courtenay boxing on the front foot as she landed a variety of punches on her opponent’s body and head. She then followed with a combination to force Busuioc on ropes.
The third round again saw Courtenay resuming her assault from the previous round as she boarded punches from every angle while using her footwork to avoid any danger.
Busuioc came into the 4th round with an intent to control the fight but Courtney maintained her dominance and forced the fight to end by a stoppage but her brave opponent held on until the bell rang.
