Dalilah Muhammad set a new world record for 400m hurdles race

At the US Championships held on Sunday, American sprinter named Dalilah Muhammad was able to set a new world record for the race of 400-meter hurdles.

29 years old ended the race at the time of 52:20 which is 0.14 seconds faster compared to the previous record set by Yuliya Pechonkina set back in 2003.

Under the rainy conditions of the track at the Des Moines, Dalilah achieved this goal while running at lane four.

 

After her greatest career achievement, Dalilah said to media, “I am just simply shocked. I have been kind of hitting the time during my practices and my coach said that there was no way you cannot do it.”

Dalilah Muhammad is also the reigning champion for the Olympic Games as she stood on the top of the podium back in Rio 2016 Olympics games.
