Dinwiddie leads Nets in 4th quarter as they beat Cavs by 113-107

After being locked in a tight game during the fourth quarter, Nets needed a quick saving. Their answer to trouble was Spencer Dinwiddie. Brooklyn Nets coach; Kenny Atinkson said, “He is a speed demon. On the court, he is like a dragster.

Dinwiddie led the Brooklyn Nets in the fourth quarter as he scored 12 of his 28 points for the team as the Nets won over Cleveland Cavaliers by 113-107 on Wednesday night.

Atinkson was very encouraging to Dinwiddie who was making a comeback after missing out 14 games due to a torn ligament of his right thumb.

D’Angelo Russell from Nets side scored 25 points for the team as they won their second game in a row. With this win, they are currently in pace with Detroit Pistons for the no. 6 playoff seed in the Eastern Conference.

Dinwiddie said, “We just needed to tighten up the screws tonight.”

As for Cleveland Cavaliers side, they were led by Kevin Love, who scored 24 points and 16 rebounds for the team. With this loss, Cavs have now lost two games out of their last 6 games. Their previous loss to Nets was right before the All-Star break. David Nwaba from Cavs side scored his career-high of 22 points.

Larry Drew, Cavs coach said, “We allowed them to speed us up a little bit.”

In this game, Colin Sexton made 1 3-pointer shot to tie with the record of Kyrie Irving for most by a rookie Cavs. Irving shot 73 3-pointers back in 2011-12 season.

Up next Cleveland Cavaliers will be visiting Miami for a game against Miami Heat on Friday night. As for Brooklyn Nets, they will be playing against the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night.
