Dragic leads Heat to end Spurs’ 9-game winning streak

Dwyane Wade in his final game against the San Antonio Spurs was not only upset but also tenacious as well as gracious.

It was a perfect night for Wade to end his fiery battles with the Spurs and an unusual one when the crowd at the AT&T center walked him off with cheers after his one final win over the Spurs.

Goran Dragic led the Miami Heat with his 22 points as they ended the Spurs’ 9-game winning streak with a victory by 110-105 on Wednesday night. The game sent Wade home being a winner in what is most likely his last game.

Wade said, “We were playing as good as we had played since I got back here. It was fun playing basketball with these guys like this.”

Other players of Miami Heat like Dion Waiters added in his 18 points while Josh Richardson scored 15 points. With this win, Heat have now won third game in a row to remain in the 8th place of Eastern Conference.

As for Spurs, their 11 game win streak came to end with this loss but they still are 5th in the Western Conference.

Six of Spurs’ players scored in double digits with LaMarcus Aldridge scoring 17 points while DeRozan added in his 16 points and Patty Mills and Marco Belinelli both scored 17 points each.

Up next, Miami Heat will play against Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night while San Antonio Spurs will play against the Houston Rockets on Friday night.
