Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships; Roger Federer to play Stefanos Tsitsipas in final

Roger Federer is only one win away from winning his career 100th ATP Tour Title as he reaches the final of the Dubai duty-Free Tennis Championships.

Federer is also chasing for his 8th record title in Dubai as he easily defeated his Croatian opponent Borna Coric by 6-2 and 6-2 in their semi-finals match. The match was played between the two for nearly 67 minutes.

37 years 0dol Roger Federer is bidding to become the second player in the modern professional tennis game to reach the milestone of 100 tour-level tournament titles. The first was Jimmy Connors who won a total of 109 titles.

In the Saturday’s final, Federer will also have a chance to avenge his defeat by hands of Stefanos Tsitsipas for the Australian Open last-16.

As for Tsitsipas, he is on course for winning back to back tour tiles after he defeated Gael Monfils on Friday at the quarterfinals of the Mexico Open.

Gael Monfils got his defeat by hands of Tsitsipas by 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4).

Tsitsipas who earlier this week won the Open 13 in Marseille without losing a set is looking to secure the second title of his career. He is also assured of his place in the World Top 10 by replacing Marin Cilic.
