Jalen Mills, the cornerback of Philadelphia Eagles and Devin Robinson, the forward of Washington Wizards of the NFL and NBA team respectively were arrested on charge so fighting outside a club. They were charged with disorderly conduct outside a night club in Washington D.C. on Saturday night. The news has been confirmed by the D.C. police to media.
According to Karimah Bilal, the officer of Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, both Robinson, and Mills were engaged in a verbal abuse outside the nightclub named Opera Ultra Lounge located in the downtown area at around 3 am in the morning. After that, the things escalated to a physical altercation on the sidewalk.
The situation has been acknowledged by both Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Wizards organizations in their recent statements.
Both players were kept detained for the overnight on Saturday. After that Robinson was taken to a hospital to tend his injuries.
As for Mills, he missed a good part of the 2018 season after suffering from a foot injury. As for Robinson, he missed the last 2 seasons of the NBA G League’s Capital City Go-Go due to a hip injury.
Wizards in their latest statement to media also said that now the 2 years contract for Robinson will also not be extended.
