Embiid scores 21 points and 17 rebounds to lead 76ers win over Kings by 123-114

Jimmy Butler led the Philadelphia 76ers with his 22 points along with 6 rebounds and 7 assists to win over the Sacramento Kings by 123-114 on Friday night.

Joel Embiid was also the star of the night with his 21 points and 17 rebounds along with him playing hard on both sides of the court in the quarter for 76ers. With this win, 76ers have now won their 3rd straight game and have even managed to be even with the third seed of the Eastern Conference; Indiana Pacers.

Philadelphia 76ers are currently holding the tiebreaker with pacers to get the home court advantage for the first round of the playoffs. As for the 5th seed Boston Celtics, they are only 2 games behind both Pacers and 76ers.

The chilly spring weather in Philadelphia with a day of rest heed the 76ers win the game quite easily.

Jimmy Butler said, “This is all it takes. Some rest and good weather. This weather does not make my knees ache. The snow is finally gone and we are good to go. We are ready to rock.”

Other players of 76ers; Tobias Harris and JJ Redick both added in their 19 points each while Ben Simmons scored 18 points for the team win.

As for Sacramento Kings, they were led by Harrison Barnes and De’Aaron Fox who scored 16 points each for the team. With this loss, Sacramento Kings have now lost their 3rd consecutive game while losing 6 of their last 9 games.

Dave Joerger, the Kings coach said, “We are playing hard and we are also applying the right way. We are playing together. The wins are surely going to come our way.”

Up next, Sacramento Kings will host a game against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday night while 76ers will play a game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night.
