The Sunday night opening game for Cleveland Browns was not a great one as they were swept out by the Tennessee Titans and following that was a fan threw beer on face of one of the Titan’s player.
On Tuesday, Browns released a statement which states that they are working to identify a fan that threw beer on face of Logan Ryan and also said that they would place an indefinite ban on him from the FirstEnergy Stadium. On Wednesday team said that they are still investigating but one fan reported that he has been banned by the team wrongly.
The name of the fan is Eric Smith but there is a slight hiccup because the fan said in a Twitter post that he has not been to a Browns’ game in the last 9 years and that he was working on Sunday’s game at wedding.
There is a point to Smith’s claim as he does not seem to be the fan who threw beer on Ryan. It is noticeable in the video down below that the fan who threw beer did not had a tattoo drawn on the right arm which actually Smith has.
For comparison, there is a picture of the right arm of Smith from his social media account.
Also to mention here is the thing that name such as Eric Smith is a really common one.
