Felix Cash retains his with stoppage victory against Jack Cullen

In the title defense fight for the Commonwealth Middleweight belt, Felix Cash was able to retain his title with a stoppage victory over Jack Cullen held in Manchester Arena.

Cash was able to seal his win for the title with the 8th round stoppage on the undercard of Katie Taylor VS Christina Linardatou.

Flexi Cash won the fight by unleashing his barrage of heavy blows as he dropped Cullen in the opening round once. However, Cullen then got up to give the champion a hard time to finish the round standing strongly.

Felix Cash and Cullen both traded equal blows for the 2nd round with Cullen taking the fight at close quarters despite the advantage of his height and long reach.

Flex Cash then tested his opponent’s chin during the 3rd with his right hand and then proceed with some accurate shots in the 4th round.

Cullen then upped his guard in the 5th as he tried to made use of his long and fast jab but Felix Cash was hell-bent on landing heavy blows.

Felix Cash was finally able to drop Cullen in the 7th following a barrage of blows but Cullen managed to survive the round with bell.

Cullen responded strongly to his previous knockdown by coming on the front foot in the 8th but Flex Cash was ready for him as he unleashed his series of punches that were answered by Cullen and referee was forced to jump in and call the fight off in favor of Felix Cash.

In other matches of the night, Terrier Harper was able to win on points against Viviane Obenauf to retain her title of IBO Super-featherweight belt.

Harper also celebrated this win with her 23rd birthday as she produced an amazing performance to claim the victory by unanimous decision. With this win, Harper is now right on course for her match against Eva Wahlstrom, the WBC Champion next year.

The fight ended with a scoring verdict of 99-91, 99-92 and 97-93. By the 3 ringside judges in favor of Harper.

As for the fight of Martin Bakole VS Rodney Hernandez, Bakole was able to claim the 2nd round stoppage victory easily. Bakole Knocked out his opponent in the opener first and then in the second.

As for the vacant title of QBA Continental super-bantamweight belt, it was won by Qais Ashfaq following his points win over Joe Ham.

The southpaw from Leeds won the fight by scoring verdict of 69-64, 70-64, 70-63.
