Gasol scores 20 points as Grizzlies beat Cavaliers by 95-87

On the Wednesday night game, Memphis Grizzlies made use of the chance when Cleveland Cavaliers missed their first 12 shots. Cavs came back storming hard but Marc Gasol and his team were able to hold them for a wire-to-wire win.

The Wednesday night game of basketball between Memphis Grizzlies VS Cleveland Cavaliers ended with Memphis Grizzlies win by 95-87.

Marc Gasol led the Grizzlies with his 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Mike Conley of the Grizzlies said, “Cavs are a team that does not quit till the end. They have a really good coach and some young talent over there.”

Other players from Grizzlies side like Kyle Anderson and Mike Conley both scored 15 points each with Conley handing in his 8 assists for the night. Garret Temple and Jaren Jackson Jr. of the Grizzlies both scored 11 points each.

Cavs have now lost their fourth straight game, who were led by Jordan Clarkson who scored 24 points of the bench while Collin Sexton added in his 16 points with 6 assists. Lastly, Cedi Osman scored 10 points for the team.

Clarkson talking about the team’s loss said, “We were just trying to play hard and trying to the cut the lead for winning this game. I mean we were right there making the plays but it just did not happen like the way we wanted”.

Up next, Cavs will play against Miami Heat on Friday while Memphis Grizzlies will host a game against the Boston Celtics on Saturday.
