Griffin and Bullock lead Pistons push past Timberwolves in OT by 129-123

Detroit pitons were trailing by 14 points in the fourth quarter when they finally started rolling in their 3-pointers. While many were long shots, the shortest shot of the night was the game-winning shot.

On the Wednesday night game of Detroit Pistons VS Minnesota Timberwolves, Pistons came out victorious by 129-123 in the Overtime.

Pistons were led by Blake Griffin who scored 34 points for the night while Reggie Bullock added in his career-high 33 points for the team’s win.

The game was sent into overtime with Andre Drummond’s shot with 0.6 seconds left to the game. Then this NBA leading rebounder made a 3-pointer shot that resulted in Pistons win.

Drummond said, “I wanted the ball more. I went and got it and took my time to finish the play.”

From Detroit’s side, Reggie Jackson added his 24 points while Andre Drummond scored 16 points with his 16 rebounds.

As for Minnesota Timberwolves, they were led by Derrick Rose who scored 33 points. Whereas Robert Covington scored, 22 and Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins both scored 16 points each for the team.

Blake Griffin was coming off sick during the Wednesday’s night game. He was suffering from flu and had been given an IV drip before the game.

Up next, Detroit Pistons will play against Charlotte Hornets on Friday night whereas Minnesota Timberwolves will play against San Antonio Spurs on Friday night.
