In their last of the four-game trip game, Detroit Pistons had enough energy left to end the trip on a good note.
The Wednesday night game of basketball between Memphis Grizzlies VS Detroit Pistons ended with Pistons win by 101-94.
With this defeat, Memphis Grizzlies have now lost three games in a row and 10 of their last 13 games which led for a lengthy postgame locker room meeting. The head coach of Grizzlies, JB Bickerstaff took more than 30 minutes in this closed locker room meeting before he came and talked to media. The locker room after Bickerstaff’s emergence remained closed even for a more long time and was finally opened by team leaders Marc Gasol and Mike Conley.
Bickerstaff said to media, “A conversation needed to be had and will remain between us those who were in that locker room.”
As for Detroit, they were led by Blake Griffin who scored 26 points off his 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Other than him, six other Pistons’ players scored in double digits. Reggie Jackson of the Pistons scored 16 points while Reggie Bullock and Luke Kennard both added in their 13 points each for the team.
The Memphis Grizzlies were led by Jarren Jackson Jr. who scored 26 points off his 10 rebounds, Kyle Anderson added in his 15 points for the team whereas Dillon Brooks scored 14 points for the team.
Up next, Detroit Pistons will host a game against the Utah Jazz on Saturday night while Memphis Grizzlies will host a game against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night.
