Once James Harden of the Houston Rockets finds the best way to take over a game, there is little any team in NBA can do to stop him.
Harden who attacked on both sides of the court on Saturday night, led the Houston Rockets to defeat the Utah Jazz by 125-98.
Harden scored 48 points in this game which is his 26th straight time with 30 or more points. His 30 points streak is the third longest in NBA history. The first and second places are held both by Wilt Chamberlain’s for 65 and 31 games.
Harden, the reigning NBA MVP said, “It was a must win for us. We came out and played like it. We got the game applying defensively as for the offensive end, we moved the ball well. Everybody played really well tonight. This is the kind of effort that we need every night.”
Harden, in addition to his 43 points also had 12 rebounds, 6 steals, 4 blocks and 5 assists. He also managed to shoot 4 of his 12 3-pointers whilst making all of his 15 free throws.
As for Utah jazz, they were led by Donovan Mitchell who scored 26 points and 9 assists while Rudy Gobert added in his 10 points and 13 rebounds for the team.
Up next, Houston Rockets will play against the Phoenix Suns on Monday night while Utah Jazz will host a game against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night.
