Harden scores 41 to lead Rockets’ win over Warriors by 126-121 in OT

James Harden scored a 3-pointer shot to let his team beat the Golden State Warriors in the OT.

Eric Gordon also helped the Rockets with an outstanding performance of his career to let them have this point.

Harden led the Houston Rockets with his 41 points as Warriors were defeated by Rockets by 126-121 on Saturday night’s Game 3 of the 2nd round playoff series.

With this win, Rockets now stand 2-1 in the semifinals series of the Western Conference.

PJ Tucker’s layup allowed the Rockets to be 3 points ahead with 2 minutes to the game as Warriors also missed their shots on their next 2 possessions. With a 3-pointer from Harden made with 49 seconds to the clock allowed the Rockets to have a 124-118 lead.

Eric Gordon contributed for the Rockets with his playoff career high of 30 points which he made through his 7 3-pointers.

He said, “It is all about bringing something great to the table. Be it offensively, defensively, you need to bring something on the table on every single night to allow yourself to have a chance to win.”

Durant said of Harden, that he was really important in Houston’s win tonight.

He said, “He kept the Rockets afloat for a while.”

Rockets were able to hold Durant’s impressive 46 points performance on the night as well as they held a late surge of Warriors in this game of best of seven series.

Harden was able to successfully lead his team to victory despite him recovering from injured eyes eh sustained during the Game 2. He was hit by Draymond Green in the eyes during that game. Despite Harden saying that they did not bother him on Statuary night, both of his eyes had bloody spots in them.

Mike D’Antoni, Rockets coach said, “That is James that is what he does.”

Stephen Curry scored a mere 17 points while Draymond Green finished for the Warriors with his 19 points along with 121 rebounds as well as 10 assists.
