Hertha Berlin, which was hoping for a fresh start under the coaching of a new coach, their hopes dimmed on Sunday night as they lost the Bundesliga match against Wolfsburg by 3-0.
Wolfsburg was able to gain its 2nd win from its 2 league games after a penalty from Weghorst converted to a goal and then later strikes from Josip Brekalo and Jerome Roussillon respectively under the leadership of new coach named Oliver Glasner.
Hertha Berlin opened its Bundesliga campaign with 20-2 end result against Bayern Munich in last weekend’s match. They were able to pin their visiting opponents for the most part of the game but were rarely able to stop them when it came too late goals.
Fans of the Hertha Berlin were filled with hope for their club’s first game at home which is also their first game at home as the Lars Windhorst, the new investor of the club, bought club’s 37.5 percent stake for a sum of nearly 125 million Euros.
Hertha kept on pushing to make the goal after the opposing team made its first one and had a chance in the 21st minute but failed on their performance.
