The Kansas City Chiefs defeated Indianapolis Colts by 31-13 on Saturday night in their divisional matchup.
After winning this match, Kansas City Chiefs, for the first time will host the AFC Championship game next Sunday.
Patrick Mahomes, QB of the Chiefs threw for 2789 yards along with his TD on the ground while Tyreek Hill ran for 100 yards and Damian William ran for 129 yards along with a score for the Chiefs who eased in for the Sunday’s AFC showdown.
As for the Indianapolis Colts, who after there previous week’s tremendous performance, were limited for just 263 yards as Andrew Luck, QB for the Colts completed 19 of his 36 passes for 203 yards. Marlon Mack only competed for 46 yards on the ground.
Kansas City Chiefs’ on their first two opening drives scored 2 TDs and a field goal on their Third drive. As for Colts, they were not able to score a point until the second quarter.
Mahomes first pass was to Tyreek Hill as the Chiefs ran for down the field five-play and a 90-yard drive followed by Williams 10 yard TD.
After Chiefs were at 17 points, Colts decided to make a change of their play with huge momentum and the forced a punt to Kansas City. Najee Goode broke free of the lineup and blocked Zach Pascal’s kick and recovered the ball in the end zone thus putting Colts right back at 17-7.
As for the second half, Chiefs took the charge of the game for the most part and Colts made a number of mistakes and penalties.
The no. 21 seed of the playoffs, Chiefs will now AFC Championship game next Sunday in which they will play against the winners of this Sunday’s Chargers VS Patriots game.

Colts 7-24 Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes made a 4-yard run.
