Tom Brady was able to throw his 500th career touchdown pass with New England Patriots as they made a comeback during the second half to secure a win against Indian Colts on Thursday night by 38-24.
Brady’s 500 TD pass also became the first for the Josh Gordon since his move from Cleveland Browns to Patriots. This 34-yard touchdown helped New England Patriots to take a lead of 14 during the fourth quarter.
James White; the running back of Patriots also had yet another splendid night after totaling in 77 yards off of his 10 catches. Julian Edelman also managed to run 55 yards off of his 7 catches in his first game since a year of injury and suspension.
Patriots were able to take the lead of the game when Brady connected to Cordarrelle Patterson with a touchdown during their opening drive. Colts, on the other hand, came out pointless as their newest kicker and former Patriots team member; Adam Vinatieri missed a 38-yard field goal.
From this point on, things only got worse for Colts in the first half and they only made three points after Vinatieri succeeded his second 54-yard field goal kick.
Patriots have now moved up in the season with 3-2 whereas Colts fall further behind form contending the AFC South with 1-4.
