The Monday night game of basketball between LA Lakers VS Dallas Mavericks ended with Lakers win by 107-97.
Ingram led the Lakers with his 29 points while Lonzo Ball added in his 21 points as the second most scoring player for the Lakers.
Ball and Ingram said that they talked after Sunday’s loss and agreed that they need to step up in the absence of LeBron James and Rajon Rondo.
Ingram said, “With those guys out, we were trying to take over and be the leaders for our team.”
Since James’ injury back on Christmas Day and his absence since then, Lakers have only won twice in their last 7 games.
As for the Dallas Mavericks, they were led by Luka Doncic who scored 27 points which includes him making 11 field goals and two 3-pointers.
This was Dallas’ fourth defeat at home this season.
Up next, LA Lakers will host a game against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday while Dallas Mavericks will host a game against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday.
