Jarrell Miller following adverse finding in drug test has been denied license to fight Anthony Joshua

Jaren Miller after having found of adverse drug testing has been denied the license to fight against Anthony Joshua by the New York State Athletic Commission.

Still the decision of denying him the license does not mean that his fight with Anthony Joshua is off. Miller has a chance to reapply if there is no adverse finding in his second test.

On the other hand, promoter of AJ, Eddie Hearn says that they are most likely to look for a new opponent. Miller is due for his fight with the IBF, WBO and WBA champion Anthony Joshua on June 1st which will be held at the Madison Square Garden in New York.

Eddie Hearn said on Twitter of the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) test, We have been made aware by VADA that there have been some adverse findings in Jarren Miller’s sample for a drug test which was collected back on March 2nd, 2019. We are currently working with all the relevant parties and will provide the update of more details soon. As for AJ’s preparation for his fight on June 1st at MSG, it is still going on.”
