In the WBC intentional lightweight title belt fight between Terrier Harper and Claudia Lopez, Harper retained the belt after she won over Lopez by stoppage in the 6th round.
Harper took an aggressive approach from the opening bell against Lopez, the two-weight champion. Harper put a big cut over Lopez’s forehead in the 2nd round after both fighters accidentally clashed their heads.
Lopez, the experienced Argentinean fighter in what was her 35th contest fight started chasing Harper in the third round but was ultimately caught by her opponent’s right and uppercut in the 4th.
Lopez who had blood putting down her forehead tried to remain in the fight during the fifth but was caught by an uppercut in the 6th that rocked her. Following the uppercut was a heavy right-hand punch that had her held in place and referee to wave off the fight.
As for the professional debut fight of Dalton Smith against Luka Leskovic, Smith won all four rounds.
The highly anticipated super lightweight star showed a variety of punches in the opening round and continued to impress both crowd and judges in the 2nd.
22 years old Smith’s confidence was over the roof in the fourth as dropped his hands and whipped punches at his opponent from all sides to ultimately gain the Knockout win.
As for the professional debut fight of Charles Frankham against Tzemal Xouseinoglou, Frankham won over Xouseinoglou by points win.
The 11 times amateur titlist Frankham seemed to boss around his tiny Greek opponent from the first round but at one occasion was still caught by a left hook and right counter punch.
As for the final two rounds of the fight, 19 years old, Frankham let go of his hands but was still unable to have a stoppage victory.
