While Daniel Cormier is enjoying his UFC Titles; Jon Jones has his plans of taking all of it away.
31 years old Jon Jones is still struggling in his Anti Doping case from US Anti Doping Agency after violating the Anti Doping Test instructions for second time. However he is already adamant about the fact that he is going to strip away all the titles from Daniel Cormier once he is back in the ring.
In an interview to Russian media, Jon Jones calmly sated his plans on how he is planning to strip Cormier off from his Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight Gold titles in pair of fights.
“My plan is to first fight him for Light Heavyweight title. Beating him in this match for third time will certainly do something to his confidence. He perhaps thinks that he can beat me because of the reason that our earlier fight went fairly well just before knocked him out. This time I want to crush that confidence. I am going to crush both his will and confidence and doing this at the Light Heavyweight title fight is the smartest thing to do. For a third time.”
Jones said that he won’t stop there and would set up a fourth match for the Heavyweight gold title which the current champion won by defeating Stipe Miocic with a knockout.
These plans and interview came after Cormier made remarks that winning the heavyweight championship has improved his punching power. To this Jon said that he certainly can do better in big man divisions.
Currently Jon himself faces a four years suspension for being tested positive for the Pre-fight drug test at UFC 214 in a fight against Daniel Cormier. Cormier who was knocked out in that match was given the belt after Jon was proven guilty for doping violations.
