Judd Trump wins the title of World Open Snooker held in China

Judd Trump was able to win his season’s second-ranking title following his 10-5 win against Thepchaiya Un-Nooh in the event of World Open of Snooker held in China.

The world champion was able to hold off in the mini fight from Thai to win with breaks on 136 and the 61 during the final 2 frames in the final of the tournament held in Yushan.

Trump, the current world rank no. 1 in snooker, was able to deal most damage during the first session as he gained the 7-2 lead on the back runs of the 58, 96, 78, 90, 85 and 68. Judd Trump also won a frame following Thepchaiya’s forfeit after he failed to get out of the snooker 3 times.

For Thepchaiya things could have been a lot worse if the world no., 37 had not fluked one of the repotted black to win the 9th frame.

Judd Trump then moved in with 2 wins after a break of 64 following the start of the session but then Thepchaiya fought in order to reel in 3 frames.

Still, this was not enough to win over Judd Trump and he was able to easily move into his 13th title win in a dominating manner.
