Three of the Kansas City Chiefs’ players; Eric Berry due to his heel injury, wideout Sammy Watkins due to his foot injury and running back Spencer Ware due to his hamstring Injury, are in doubt to play in the Saturday’s playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Berry, who is unlikely to play, already missed the practice of team on Wednesday and Thursday. Following his absence, Chiefs managed their defensive lineup as they are expecting to play without him.
Andy Reid, the Head coach of the Chiefs gave media a little insight about Berry’s injury saying it is day by day the same thing that it has been going throughout the year.
Three ties All-Pro safety played on a limited basis on Tuesday before taking a leave for two days. He also missed the first 13 games of the season due to his heel injury. He made a return in Week 15 and 16 but afterward sat out on a regular season finale.
Watkins and Ware after coming back from their extended absences were on limited practices. Watkins, since November 5th has only played in five snaps as for Ware he has missed three straight games for the Chiefs.
Another player of Chiefs, rookie linebacker Dorian O’Daniel also was absent from the practice on Thursday as he is struggling with his calf and heel injuries. His presence in the Saturday’s playoff game is also doubtful.
