Kasha Ali has issued an apology for biting David Price during their heavyweight fight last Saturday night.
The boxing license for the Birmingham boxer was suspended by the British Boxing Board of Control due to him biting his opponent. He was also disqualified from the fight and has since then apologized for his actions.
In a statement by Kash Ali, he stated, “I would like to apologize for my behavior during the fight with David Price, as it was unacceptable. I am sorry not only to David Price but also to all the boxing fans, my family and Boxing board. I am extremely embarrassed about my actions and the way the fight turned out to be.”
“The happenings of the fight got the better of my judgment. Those who know me and David can all testify that what transpired on Saturday is not a reflection of who I really am.”
The 27 years old boxer had to leave the boxing ring under the perimeter of security as crowd threw drinks at him. He was disqualified from the fight’s fifth round by referee Mark Lyson.”
As for now, Ali is waiting for a disciplinary hearing from the BBBofC and also stated that David has accepted his apology.
