Leonard’s 34 points led Raptors for a eighth straight win against the Cavs

Despite being down an All-Star guard, Toronto Raptors had no need for the panic as they were up against one of the worst NBA teams this season; the Cleveland Cavaliers. With Kawhi Leonard around they did not even need to panic a little bit.

On the Saturday night game of Toronto Raptors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers, Raptors were able to win by 106-95.

Raptors were led by Leonard who scored 34 points for the night and Fred VanVleet added in his 15 points for the night as Raptors won their eight consecutive games.

Danny Green and Pascal Siakam scored 15 points each from Raptors side. Raptors were missing Lowry for the first time this season as he was suffering from an unspecific back injury. Nick Nurse; the Raptors coach did not provide any details about this injury also.

From Cavs side, Jordan Clarkson scored 18 points and Tristan Thompson added in 18 points with 19 rebounds for the night.

Toronto Raptors will now host a game against Denver Nuggets on Monday night whereas Cleveland Cavaliers will be up against Brooklyn Nets on Monday night.
