The Sunday night game of football between Los Angeles Chargers VS New England Patriots ended in Pats win by 28-41.
Sony Michael of the Patriots ran for 129 yards along with 3 TDs as the New England Patriots have now earned their eighth straight trip into the AFC Championship game.
Next week, New England Patriots will play against the Kansas City Chiefs for the AFC title game. Earlier this season, Patriots already defeated the Chiefs by 43-40 in Foxborough during Week six’s game.
Patriots started their day with defense early on against the Chargers as they scored 83, 67, 58 and 87 yards. And right before the half time, Pats scored their fifth TD to have a lead of 35-7.
Tom Bray, the QB of the Patriots completed 34 of his 44 passes for 343 yards and 15 yards scoring stripe to Phillip Dorsett in the second quarter.
Running back James White of the Patriots caught 15 passes for 97 yards while Wide receiver Julian Edelman caught 9 passes for 151 yards. With this, the team has made a franchise record of fifth 100-yard game in the playoffs.
As for Chargers QB Rivers, he struggled with the offense as he completed 25 of 51 passes for 331 yards along with 3 TDs. Two of these Ts came in the late fourth 1quarter.

Chargers 14-38 Patriots: Melvin Gordon made a one-yard touchdown run.
