Los Angeles Lakers beat Dallas Mavericks by 119-110 in the OT thriller

LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers sidestepped to face the crowd at the arena after posting a 3-pointer in the overtime following which came the buzzer-beating 3-pointer from Danny Green.

The star player of the Los Angeles Lakers took a wide peek at the national TV crew on the court in his effort to gauge out the entertainment value of the matchup of the 15-time All-Star and Anthony Davis Jr. against the European pair of Kristaps Porzingis and Luka Doncic.

The extra period had been a thriller but it was also not that much great as compared to the 2nd half.

Davis started the OT with dunks being made back to back following Green’s corner 3-pointer shot that helped the Los Angeles Lakers won over the Dallas Mavericks by 119-110 on Friday night. the game had been thrilling one in which both James and Doncic had made matching triple-doubles.

James said of Doncic, whom he inspired into being a basketball player he is today, “You never know, who you are going to inspire on your path. For me, playing the game in the right way and get my teammates involved with me and play for the game’s purity; I was able to inspire a kid who was not even born in America. That is pretty special.”

James posted his current season-high of 39 points along with 10 rebounds and 16 assists whereas Doncic finished for the night with 31 points, 13 rebounds, and 15 assists.

As per the NBA, both of them have become the oldest and the youngest NBA players to have posted triple-doubles with a minimum of 30 points along with 15 assists in the same game.

For 20 years old Doncic, this was his 10th triple-double of the career and now extends his record for the youngest player with most triple-doubles under the age of 21. As for James, he has scored 82 triple-doubles so far in his career. He is 3rd on the youngest list with his 5 triple-doubles under the age of 21.

Los Angeles Lakers will now take their first road game against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday. As for the Mavericks, they will be playing against Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday.
