Magic hold on to beat Celtics for second time by 105-103

Boston Celtics could not manage to cool down Terrence Ross in the second half and that’s what cost them Saturday night’s game.

Aaron Gordon scored 28 points and 12 rebounds as Orlando Magic held on late to top off the Celtics for the second time and won the game by 105-103 on Saturday night.

Terrence Ross from Orlando Magic’s side scored 25 points, 18 of which were scored in the second half and according to Celtics coach Brad Stevens, “he was the difference”.

Stevens said, “Ross changed the whole game. When a guy catches fire, you have got to stop him down. We were not able to get into this air space and when we did, we fouled. When Ross started going at it, everything opened up.”

The game would have been tied at the buzzer if Jason Tatum had not missed a jumper shot.

Kyrie Irving of Celtics scored 2 points. As from magic’s side, Nikola Vucevic scored 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Up next, Boston Celtics will play against Brooklyn Nets on Monday naught while Orlando Magic will host a game against the Houston Rockets on Sunday night.
