Manny Pacquiao has also followed suit of Floyd Mayweather Jr. as he also signs with the Japanese MMA company Rizin.
Rizin is the mixed martial arts company that formulated an exhibition match between the Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa with Floyd Mayweather Jr. on the New Year’s Eve o2018 in the city of Tokyo.
Mayweather won the match easily against Nasukawa after he defeated his opponent in the first round of the boxing match rules. As for next, the Pacquiao is most likely to face Nasukawa next as he had signed the deal with Rizin.
Nobuyuki Sakakibara, the chief executive of Rizin announce the news of Pacquiao joining the Rizin on Monday morning as he posted photographs on his Twitter account of the 40 years old and the 8-division world champion’s signing with Rizin a contract.
Sakakibara wrote, “I am here in the Philippines. RIZIN.15 will have this man involved in a way. We will be ready to announce as I get back to Japan!”
Still, he has not specified the details as to under what capacity will Pacquiao be involved in participating in the event which is scheduled on April 20th.
